Iaido DonauCup 2026
Dear Friends,

As many of you know, we are launching a tournament series designed to offer real value on both a sporting and a communal level-in the spirit of keiko, exchange, and shared learning across all disciplines. To kick off this new project, we are proud to host the Iaido DonauCup on April 25th and 26th.

To make the Iaido DonauCup a truly unique experience, we have decided to include a Koryu Goodwill Taikai alongside the individual categories. This is a special opportunity for participants to demonstrate their skills in Koryu, and we encourage everyone to include Koryu in their regular practice leading up to the event.

On the second day, we are honored to host a seminar taught by:
-
Takahiro Nihei Sensei (Kyoshi 7th Dan)
-
Mami Sasamira Sensei (Kyoshi 7th Dan)
-
Felix Klein Sensei (6th Dan)

The seminar will be followed by grading up to 1st Kyu.

On Saturday evening, we invite all participants and guests to a welcome dinner at the restaurant "Zum Englischen Reiter", located in Vienna's famous Prater park.
